Goldie is an Old World Mamma — a tiny human dynamo with an urgent agenda: cooking and cleaning. Ruthie is her daughter — an exasperating but loveable kook who believes in everything from organic healing flashlights to flying saucers.

Every day this inseparable duo drive each other to complete distraction -- but they really couldn’t live without one another. Through their eyes, we see the world as it really is: beginning on Brighton Beach Avenue and ending at Coney Island.
